Request for Proposal for Architectural Contractors; 

Sealed Bid for Refrigerators and Chest Freezers Vendors

For Weatherization Program

 

Tazwood Community Services, Inc. (TCSI) will be accepting Request for Proposals from HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Architectural Contractors interested in participating in the Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program (IHWAP) period beginning July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. TCSI IHWAP covers the Illinois counties of Tazewell, Woodford, McLean & Livingston. We anticipate weatherizing approximately 60-90 homes in our four-county area.

 

TCSI is also accepting Sealed Bids for Refrigerators and/or Chest Freezers for the IHWAP period beginning July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.

 

An Informational meeting will be held at Tazwood Community Services, Inc., 610 Park Ave., Pekin, IL 61554, on April 12, 2023, at 8:30 A.M. for HVAC and Plumbing Contractors and on April 13, 2023 at 8:30 for Architectural Contractors. Persons interested in attending the meeting must reserve a space by notifying Caleb Marrett before 3:00 P.M. on April 7, 2023. HVAC, Plumbing, and Architectural Contractors are required to attend the meeting for their proposal to be considered. Persons that arrive more then five minutes late, without prior notification, will not be allowed to attend the meeting, thus deferring their right to propose bid. Refrigeration and Chest Freezer Vendors are not required to attend the meeting, instead, a bid packet will be mailed when the notice of interest is received.

 

All proposal/bid packets must be completed and returned to the TCSI office no later than May 12, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. Bids will be opened on May 15, 2023, at 8:00 A.M. at the TCSI office in Pekin. Letters for pre-qualified contractors will be mailed and/or emailed by May 17, 2023. A Negotiated Bid meeting will be held on June 5, 2023, at 8:30 A.M. for HVAC and Plumbing Contractors, and on June 6, 2023, at 8:30 A.M. for Architectural Contractors. TCSI reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to accept any proposal or part of a proposal which in its judgment will be in the best interest of the program and/or agency.
